Dina-Marie is currently a student at Northeastern University for a Master’s in Nonprofit Business Management. Due to the complexity of the mission and nature of the nonprofit, the TWA has been only maintaining IRS required information to remain and active 501(c)(3)
Sonya Abraham
Co-President
Sonya Abraham is an Army Veteran, a Licensed Social Worker, and Medical Cannabis Card Holder that is dedicated to the mission of TWA Inc. They live in Iowa and is a Medical Cannabis Card Holder. They struggled with access to the medication they need due to barriers. In Iowa, medical cards are legal only. The laws for medical patients are significantly restrictive and there is only one location in the entire state that distributes the medication making it extremely difficult for patients in Iowa to obtain their medication. Through education and lived experiences, Sonya looks to help other veterans become aware of available resources both federally and nonprofit based to help increase over all wellness.
Ryan MaClean
President
My name is Ryan MacLean. I’m a 43 year old married father of 2 girls. I spent 4 years in the USMC as MOS 7051 Crash Fire Rescue, deploying twice during OIF and OEF. I then spent another decade continuing my role in the Fire Department throughout Iraq and Afghanistan, serving as Assistant Chief and Captain supervising over 70 firefighters from multiple countries. I believe trauma is something we can prevent from being overwhelming through many types of movement and sound therapy. My goal is the elimination of the generational passage of negative behavioral patterns by identifying and working through emotional triggers within a safe environment.
